Pot-A-Gold Doeling Consignment Sale

We are pleased to announce our first annual Pot-A-Gold consignment sale! The sale will start Friday May 12th as a silent auction, followed by the live auction to be held Saturday May 13th midday. Included in the sale will be selected DOELING consignments representing goats from our fellow ADGA dairy goat breeders!
 
  • Animal Guidelines
    • Nominations must be born between 1/1/22 - 4/15/23 and never freshened
    • All nominations must be registered or have a signed paper application
    • Current NEGATIVE CAE testing is required for every submission. If the nomination is too young for testing, both parents must have a current NEGATIVE CAE test provided. Clean herd from CL & Johnes are highly recommended. Buyers should request any additional testing information from the seller directly.
    • All nominations should be free of any genetic defects.
    • Consigned animals must be at the show Friday May 12th.
  • Bidding Guidelines
    • Opening silent auction bids will start at $300​
    • Silent auction bids will be taken starting Friday May 12th at the start of the show until the live auction starts midday Saturday May 13th. Live auction bids will start at the final silent auction bid. If there are not any live bids, the silent auction bidder will be the buyer.
    • Phone bids will be accepted through a present agent during the live auction.
    • Buyers are responsible for full cash payment & transport/holding arrangements at the conclusion of the sale. The show committee will not be responsible for sale animals after the auction.
    • All animals will be sold to the highest bidder! Bidding will continue until no further bids are noted.
  • Nomination Guidelines
    • All nominations should be submitted to the show committee with disease testing paperwork, photos (of the doe, dam, sire's dam, & registration), and additional pedigree highlights. 
    • Nominations must be submitted to the show chairs by 5/1/23.
    • 60% of the total sale amount will go to the consignor
    • 40% of the total sale amount will help fund the show
    • Breeders will be reimbursed their 60% of the total bid within 2 months of the end of the sale & once all appropriate paperwork is given to the buyer.
    • Please submit as much information with your nomination as you can. The more information along with nice photos will help with promotion of the animal and your herd!
    • Keep in mind the earlier the submission the more time the animal can be promoted and advertised! 
    • Nominations can be sent to the show Facebook page or emailed to the show email.

Dee Dee's sire is a full brother to the beautiful, GCH Gabhran Creek January 11 (VEEE91), who was the 2nd place 2yr old at the 2021 ADGA National Show in the largest class that year! She also placed 1st place in her class at the 2021 AGS National show while being awarded 1st place udder!

Midna's paternal grand dam, Sun Goddess, scored 86 VEVV as a first freshener. During her 3rd lactation on milk test, her high test day was 5.2lb with 6.4% butterfat! Midna's dam is out of Woodbridge Farm & Old Mountain Farm lines. She scored 82++++ as first freshener in 2022.

Her sire is the handsome Lakeshore TM Magmatic Eruption *B EX91 EEE out of SGCH Lakeshore DP Hot as Elle 2*M EX92 EEEE! Elle averages 2500lb between her 4 lactations! This doeling's dam is Autumn Glory RR Wild Rosemary 2*M 88VEEV. Rosemary's first freshening lactation was over 2000lbs of milk with an average of 5% butterfat!

Rainier's parents have been Alpha-S1Casein tested. Her sire is B/E and her dam is B/B. This makes Rowdy Rainier either B/B or B/E by parentage. The "B" allele makes the milk better for making cheese 🧀! She is also G6S normal by parentage!

Engle Acres QZ Pure Luck’s dam is sired by the LITTER brother to Wood Bridge Farm Undercover (sire of the 2022 National Champion "GCH Agapes Prize French Quarter 4*M" Pure Luck’s dam is out of the MATERNAL sister to the 2021 National Champion CH Wood Bridge Farm 22K Gold. Cheyanne is out of an Old Mountain Farm Brainstorm daughter, Windmill Acres Farm BR Carissa, a doe who was in the top half of her class at all her 2022 shows. We think she'll be ready to go out and win as a 3-yr-old in 2023. Old Mountain Farm Brainstorm was the 2017 Spotlight Buckling at the 2017 ADGA National Convention in Georgia.
